We run a variety of Club events throughout the year, please see below some of our past events
Come and join us for our Exhibition Night on Friday 7th July, this is a fun night for all to enjoy. A chance to bring friends and family along.
Finals day / Members day – Saturday 24th June
Come and join us for Members day. With both Tennis & Padel finals throughout the day.
We have a both a brunch & also a hog roast on the day, booking needed. We also have a bouncy castle and face painting
The day will start at 10am so make sure this date is in your diary and you are all set for another excellent club day. This is open to non members so bring your friends and family
Friday 20th January – Australian Open Tennis Social
Twenty members participated in Friday’s Social Tournament which had an Australian theme. None of the matches were as long as Andy’s Murray at the Australian Open and the temperature was a lot cooler than down under!
There was a chance to warm up afterwards in the Clubhouse with a Fish & Chip supper and a refreshing beverage.
Kiki Bosi and Richard Kitley were top scoring players – congrats!
Saturday 17th December – Christmas Tennis Social Tournament
Twenty players competed in the Social Christmas Tournament run by Adam Sturt. The conditions were a little cold and icy but everyone had fun with some suitable Christmas outfits being worn. There was a welcome half-time break of mince pies and mulled wine. Carol Elsmore was the lady’s winner and Matt Edwards and Robert Blair shared the Men’s top spot.
Saturday 10th December – Members Christmas Party
Despite the World Cup result, over 100 members enjoyed a fun evening with live music, excellent canapes and plenty of bubbles. Hounds of Sound made sure the dance floor was the place to be and picked up the mood from earlier on. We were very grateful to our main party sponsor Little Fish Sushi Sticks for providing a generous contribution to this one off event.
Friday 28th October – Tennis & Padel Halloween Social
A fun evening shared by over 50 players who enjoyed both a tennis and Padel social evening. The club looked amazing as it was decorated by Claire and her team. The evening was topped off by food from ‘A Sprinkle of Saffron‘
Friday 15th July 2022 – Tennis & Padel Exhibition Night
We started the evening with our Academy Coaching team putting on a display of their tennis skills, followed by The Padel School bringing 4 national players to take part in a Padel Exhibition like no other. The evening was full of fun and entertainment with a free BBQ for all members, and both an outside bar serving cocktails all night and out main bar serving everything else. We will soon be able to confirm the date for next years event. Our event was sponsored by Polats Sports Organization
